It comes after a jury at the Old Bailey failed to agree verdicts following a trial lasting six months (Pictures: PA)
Aristocrat Constance Marten and her partner Mark Gordon have been found guilty of concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice.
Marten, 37, and Gordon, 49, stood trial at the Old Bailey accused of killing baby Victoria and dumping her body inside a Lidl bag for life in a disused shed.
Jurors were discharged last week after failing to agree verdicts on charges of manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of a child after spending 72 hours deliberating.
But it can now be reported the couple were both found guilty of concealing the birth of Victoria and perverting the course of justice.
The CPS announced at a hearing on Wednesday it is pursuing a retrial against the couple over the charges of gross negligence manslaughter and causing or allowing the death of a child.
A provisional date has been set for March 3.
Baby Victoria was found dead on an allotment in Brighton, East Sussex, last March.
There had been a high-profile police search for the missing infant which culminated in the couple’s arrests in Brighton last February, with the child found days afterwards.
The couple, of no fixed address, denied all counts.
