England have already qualified for the Euro 2024 knockout stage ahead of their final group game against Slovenia but the Three Lions face a wait to see who they will play in the last 16.

Gareth Southgate’s side are assured of being one of the best third-placed teams in the group stage following Spain’s win over Albania and Italy‘s draw with Croatia on Monday evening.

But a win over Slovenia on Tuesday evening will guarantee top spot in Group C for England, meaning that they will play one of the best third-placed finishers from Groups D, E, or F.

If England draw with Slovenia and end up finishing second in Group C, it would mean that they will play Group A winners Germany.

A defeat to Slovenia could see England drop to third in Group C, which would mean they face Group F winners Portugal or the winners of Group E, which could be any one of Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine or Belgium.
