Rangers have concluded plans to partner with Green Foot Ladies in their bid to meet CAF’s requirements to participate in the Champions League next season.
DAILY POST reports that CAF regulations stipulate that participating clubs should have a female team or adopt an existing female team.
The reigning Nigeria Premier Football League champions will provide comprehensive support to Green Foot Ladies to foster the growth and development of female football in the community.
Rangers announced this development on its X account on Monday.
Green Foot Ladies participated in the Women’s President Federation Cup this year.
Nigeria’s other representative in the CAF Champions League, Remo Stars, has a female team called Remo Stars Ladies, which plays in the Nigeria Women’s Football League.
