Glastonbury 2024 is days away and headliner Dua Lipa is getting ready to put on a show – but things aren’t going quite to plan.

After the festival got backlash for the line-up this year, the Illusion hitmaker has been working hard in a rehearsal space in Birmingham to prove naysayers wrong.

Her Pyramid Stage preparations have now been disrupted by a ‘total nuisance’ TikTok creator who trespassed on the site, attempting to film Dua and her backup dancers.

The studio was swiftly put into lockdown and the individual was told to ‘clear off’, having been spotted by her security team.

The 28-year-old singer was inside while the incident took place, with a source telling The Sun she ‘missed all the hullabaloo.’

‘Dua has been working so hard for the past few days to perfect her set for Glastonbury,’ they added.

The Sun has not named the TikToker as they do not wish to bring any attention to their video, which has been posted online.

The insider continued: ‘They made a total prat of themselves by trying to film and it was all rather embarrassing. Some of Dua’s team spoke to them and asked them to clear off. She was inside so luckily missed all the hullabaloo.

‘Nothing is going to knock her off course this weekend. Dua can’t wait to show Glastonbury what she has been working on.’

Fans have been speculating over the Friday headliner’s show, suggesting she will be pulling out all the stops for an unforgettable performance.

Many are speculating that the singer has asked Cyndi Lauper, 70, to join her on stage for her performance.

The 80s icon is also performing at the festival but has announced she is heading on a farewell tour and retiring from live shows afterwards.

Bringing out a guest is fairly standard for Glasto headliners, with Lily Allen surprising fans by joining Olivia Rodrigo on stage in 2022

Elton John was joined by several guests when he headlined in 2023, including Brandon Flowers of The Killers, Jacob Lusk of Gabriels, Rina Sawayama, and Steven Sanchez.

Dua was speculated to be one of these guests before his historic set – but spent the day with family abroad instead.

Regardless of her stage plans, the One Kiss singer will make Glastonbury history alongside Coldplay as their sets are broadcast outside the UK on the BBC’s American site for the first time ever.

Notably the Sunday closing headliner, Sza, will not be included in this first-of-its-kind stream despite being a US artist.

Glastonbury kicks off on Wednesday, June 26, with various artists’ sets broadcast by the BBC across the weekend.
