A 74-year-old pensioner is accused of carrying out castrations on male body parts to fuel his sexual fetish.

The man only identified as Gerhard T, from Germany, is accused of grevious bodily harm and targeting eight men between 2015 and 2019.

It only stopped when one of his victims was so badly butchered he turned to an online community for help, Erfurt District Court heard.

This was picked up by investigators who questioned the victim and tracked down Gerhard T.

It was heard how the men contacted him online to fulfil the sexual fantasies and he would carry out the procedures either on his sofa or kitchen table for up to £1,600.

Investigators found blood-splattered surgical kidney dishes, scissors, tweezers, and a tying tube at his home.

Tests carried out revealed the blood came from several different victims.

Judge Udo Tietjen said the victims would not be named even though they paid to have it done.

He said: ‘It is not intended for the public to know who had their genitals removed and how. That violates the sexual and physical sphere of the victims.’

It is a similar case to a man who was jailed after he cut off the penis of the ringleader of an extreme body modifications group.

Damien Byrnes, 36, said the act was ‘one off the bucket list’ when he filmed himself removing Marius Gustavson’s penis with a kitchen knife.

The footage was uploaded to Gustavson’s pay-per-view ‘eunuch maker’ website and the judge described the incident as ‘disgusting and abhorrent’.
