A father allegedly stabbed his son to death in a fight over a pile of dirty dishes left in the sink.

Cops responded to a mobile home in Indianapolis on Friday and found Timothy Ray Lisby’s son, Christopher Allen Lisby, 31, on the living room floor with a ‘bleeding wound to the chest’, states an affidavit obtained by Law & Crime.

Christopher was transported to Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services in critical condition with a laceration to the heart. Despite his condition stabilizing after surgery, he died the next day, said police.

Timothy, 59, and his son were bickering over the dirty dishes and started wrestling on the floor of their home on Dogie Road, according to a family friend, Jeremiah Green.

‘Tim had a spoon in his hand and started stabbing Chris with it,’ Green told Fox 59. ‘Chris said, “Jeremiah get the spoon out of his hand,” so I did.’

The father then got ahold of another piece of cutlery, Green said.

‘Tim ran in the kitchen and grabbed something shiny, something sharp… and thrusted it into Chris’s chest as hard as he could,’ the family friend said.

After Green called 911, Timothy had a change of heart and tried to administer life-saving measures on his son.

‘He was putting pressure on Chris and saying, “Don’t die. Don’t die,”‘ Green said. ‘Since that day I’ve been crying, and I can’t sleep.’

Timothy faces an initial aggravated battery charge and is being held without bond, Marion County Jail records show.

But Green said he is willing to testify against the dad in court and that he should be charged with murder.

‘He killed the only friend I have in the world. He’s gonna pay for what he did,’ Green said.

‘Chris was my friend. I loved him to death. I’ve never seen anyone bleed that bad and that really hurt me.

‘When he stabbed Chris in the heart, it’s like he stabbed mine.’

Chris’s death comes more than a year after a man threw a Christmas tree at his wife after she asked him for help preparing dinner and accidentally splashed him with water while dropping a spoon in the kitchen sink.
