Sallah: Ex-Zamfara Speaker seeks prayers for Nigeria

A former Speaker of the Zamfara State House of Assembly, Sanusi Garba Rikiji, has urged Nigerians to pray for peace and stability in the country.

Rikiji equally urged all Islamic faithful to emulate the Prophet Mohammad PBUH by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice exemplified in his teachings.

In his Sallah message, the former Speaker said that Eid-Al-Adha is a season of love, peace, friendliness, compassion, togetherness and sacrifice.

He urged Nigerians to continue to embrace peaceful co-existence, show love and care to one another irrespective of their religious, ethnic or socio-cultural background.

Rijiki further called on the Muslim Umma and all Nigerians to continue praying for the peace and progress of the nation.

He congratulated the Muslim community in Zamfara State, Nigeria and world at large on the 2024 Eid, assuring of his commitment to always contribute for the betterment of the entire society.

“We have to use the lessons learnt during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to serve as our guiding principles in our day-to-day activities,” he said.
