Eid el Kabir: FRSC deploys 599 personnel, 29 operational vehicles, 3 ambulances in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC has deployed 590 personnel, 29 Operational Vehicles, 3 Ambulances, one Towing truck, and extrication Machines to 14 local government areas of the State.

This was revealed by the newly deployed Sector Commandant of the Corps, Umar Mas’udu Matazu, in a press event in Gusau.

He said with the massive deployment of the personnel, logistics and the envisaged public support, the corps is confident to handle the Islamic celebration very perfectly.

The Sector Commandant further reassured the motoring public of FRSC’s renewed vigour towards entrenching sanity on the road,

He said, ”The corps in Nigeria wishes all Muslims a safe and peaceful Eid-el Kabir celebration.

“The main objective of the operations is to achieve a reduction in road traffic crashes and fatal injuries in Zamfara and the country at large.”

In his remarks, the Emir of Gusau, Ibrahim Bello who spoke through the District Head of Tudun Wada, Bashir, commended the FRSC for their effort to reduce the road traffic in the state, urging them to keep it up.
