Eid-el-Kabir festivities: FRSC deploys 430 personnel in Jigawa

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Jigawa State Command, has deployed 430 personnel and nine vehicles to ensure crash-free Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

State Sector Commandant, Mr. Usman Ibrahim, made this known to newsmen in Dutse.

He said the command had taken proactive measures to combat road crashes across the state during the festive period.

According to him, “strategies were put in place to combat crashes on our roads during this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, with a special patrol that commenced”

“The objective of this special operation is to achieve reduction in road traffic crashes, fatalities, injuries, prompt response to crash victims, among other things.”

He noted that the command will also carry out aggressive enforcement, including mobile courts to try violators of traffic laws.

He called on road users to cooperate with the command for a successful conduct of the exercise.
