Donald Trump revealed he had official discussions on alien life and UFOs while president and didn’t rule out their existence – but added he personally doesn’t believe in them.

Trump spoke about his meetings with military pilots who apparently encountered unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), on YouTuber Logan Paul’s Implausive podcast.

‘I met with pilots (who looked) like beautiful Tom Cruise but taller – handsome, perfect, people,’ the former president said in the episode aired on Thursday.

He said the pilots told him there were objects ’round in form’ and traveling four times faster than their fighter jets.

‘I looked at these guys, and they really mean it,’ Trump said.

‘Am I a believer? No, I probably I can’t say I am.

‘But I have met with people that are serious people that say there’s some really strange things that they see flying around out there.’

Trump added that there are some ‘very smart and very solid’ people who believe there is something out there.

‘You know, it makes sense that they could be,’ he said. ‘I’ve never been convinced, even despite that, you know.’

Trump said ‘you have no idea how many times’ he is asked about incidents like a 1947 UFO sighting in Roswell, New Mexico.

In April 2020, the Pentagon under the Trump administration released videos of military pilots running across UAPs, or UFOs.

Interest and questions around UAPs and extraterrestrial life has been high since US lawmakers held a series of hearings on the topic last year.

The podcast episode was released the same day that Trump returned to Capitol Hill for the first time since the January 6, 2021, insurrection. He addressed numerous controversial topics including reportedly questioning what the benefit would be of Ukraine winning the war with Russia.

On Friday, Trump’s spent his 78th birthday celebrating with his supporters at a convention center in West Palm Beach, Florida, in what was a fundraiser for his 2024 presidential campaign.
