The ‘white and shimmery figure’ looked at Julie Poole and told her it was time to go back to her body.
Julie was, she says, ‘dead’ and spent three days in a spirit realm where she saw a glimpse of humanity’s future.
Higher beings had revealed to her what the next few decades would be like for the world as they sent her back to the land of living.
‘I just remember saying, “I’m going home,” and they said: “No you’re not, it’s not your time,”‘ the psychic and author told the Life After Death NDE YouTube page.
She told the hosts last month that during her experience, she was greeted by ‘angels’ who took her to a ‘higher realm’.
When it was time for her to return to her earthly form, Julie says the beings told her between 2012 and 2032 humanity would enter a new ‘golden age’.

She said: ‘What we mean by the golden age is that for millennia now there has been an enormous amount of power, abuse and control… all of that has been held by the few and has controlled the masses.
‘This golden age is bringing equality across the board so that which is false and fake and untrue and corrupt will fall away.’
We’ll let you decide how this golden age is treating you halfway in.
This golden age won’t last long anyway, she added, what with humanity walking each day close to a ‘day of reckoning’ as bigotry continues.
She said: ‘It’s coming up not so that we can have some sort of Armageddon, but the people in power that are corrupt are getting found out.
‘They’re getting caught and kicked out, and people that have a pure heart pure intentions are coming in instead.’
Not quite the end of the world then.
Julie experienced the deathbed vision after living through a suicide attempt when she was 21, haunted by the grooming and sexual assault she suffered as a child.

She had long sought support from churches and spirituality and ‘had no fear of death’.
‘After something like 15 years of abuse, physically, mentally, sexually, and emotionally I was absolutely a wreck,’ she recalled.
‘The only part of my life that made sense was my spiritual connections.’
One night, she consumed painkillers and fell unconscious for three days. Waking in what she says was an otherworldly dimension, beings told her she had experienced three lifetimes’ worth of pain.
They told her: ‘We did warn you it would be too hard and too overwhelming, and now here you are at 21 trying to check out,’
Clinical death – when a person’s heart stops beating – can lead to people experiencing what are known as deathbed visions.

These are lucid, lifelike hallucinations typically described as visions of an afterlife or supernatural phenomena. About 20% of patients who experienced clinical death and survived reported seeing one, researchers in 2013 found.
Sometimes, a smile may stretch across the dying person’s face. Other times, their gaze is seemingly locked to what’s in front of them or they describe a ‘light’.
Studies suggest that these visions are the result of surging brain activity, with a lack of oxygen and glucose making the information processing our brains do go into overdrive.
Experts say these hallucinations, also called death-related sensory experiences (DRSE), can be comforting and even heal past trauma as they help people make sense of their lives.
While unconscious, Julie said her dreams made her realise how precious life is. (However, she was told she would die at 67.)
‘I felt complete peace and complete calm,’ she said.
‘There was no pain there was no sense of panic. All of those feelings that I had been feeling were completely gone.’
