A police officer invited two people to look at dead bodies after a crash to shame them into not taking pictures.
Stefan Pfeiffer confronted the motorists taking photos on the autobahn near Nuremberg, Germany, in 2019.
In a video he says: ‘Come on, I’ll show you something … Do you want to see the dead people – make pictures?
‘There he is, he’s lying there, do you want to see him? No, you don’t want to see him? Then why do you make pictures?’
The embarrassed men stopped before going any further towards the bodies.
The men were fined £115 and he told them ‘shame on you’.
Stefan said he was demonstrating the reality of traffic fatalities and would not have let the men any closer.
He said: ‘For us its definitely an opportunity to confront people on their behaviour.

‘Simply to demand €128.50 and send them on their way won’t really teach them a lesson. They need to understand what they are actually doing.
‘By shocking them, we want to make it clear that this is not a game but a bitter reality.’
He said they were also taking their hands off the wheel causing danger to other drivers.

People on social media at the time commented on the video.
This included Tony Carter who wrote: ‘Well done. People should try and put themselves in the other person’s shoes it might be your mum or dad one day.’
Heiko Horst wrote: ‘Exactly right! I also find the punishment ridiculously low, there should be at least 500 euros – otherwise this does not deter anyone.’
