Vladimir Putin finally felt the wrath of Ukraine after an attack near his Black Sea palazzo – worth almost £1,000,000,000.
Drones targeted sites near the city of Gelendzhik, in the Krasnodarregion, not far from the 17,691 square meter mansion said to belong to the warlord, overnight on Monday.
Oil refineries and weapons depots are usually the targets of Ukrainian drone hits, but the property could have been what the army was after this time.
Governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev confirmed the strike and added: ‘In the village of Krinitsa, debris from one of the drones damaged a house under construction.
‘In the hamlet of Dzhankhot, a drone fell on a tree. A fire was extinguished. There were no casualties, according to preliminary reports.’
He insisted that all four drones had been destroyed by Russia’s air defence units.

Another drone was also downed outside Moscow on Monday, regional governor Andrei Vorobyov said.
In a statement on Telegram, he said fragments from the downed aircraft landed on a private house at about 9pm local time in Balashikha, just east of the capital.
Those inside the home managed to escape and no one was injured.
Russia’s Defence Ministry reported that air defence units had destroyed a ‘small-scale airborne object’.
Ukraine has repeatedly tried to strike behind Russian lines – often with drones – though Russia’s response to the new technology used in unmanned vehicles has improved in recent months.
The latest attacks come as Volodymyr Zelensky issued yet another plea to allies to allow him to deploy Western weapons on enemy lines inside Russia.
