As President Bola Tinubu marks his administration’s first anniversary, the executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has expressed optimism that Nigeria will be great again.
Adegbite who made this known when he received the leadership of the Northern Youth for Good Leadership and Governance at the NCPC headquarters in Abuja, commended President Tinubu’s commitment to democracy and selfless service to the nation.
He likened Tinubu to the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and late Sir Ahmadu Bello, emphasising their shared visions for a better Nigeria.
The NCPC head reiterated his belief in justice, fair play and the importance of empowering young people, having experienced the challenges of youth himself.
He thanked the group for honoring him with a certificate of excellence and assured them of his continued dedication to serve humanity and promote the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration.
Earlier, the vice chairman of the Northern Youth for Good Leadership and Governance, Engr. Abdulmalik Usman, praised Adegbite’s sterling qualities and good works, describing him as a ‘super executive secretary.’
