Manchester United star Harry Maguire couldn’t resist trolling Leeds United after their Championship play-off final loss to Southampton.
Leeds missed the chance to make an immediate return to the Premier League on Sunday after Southampton beat them 1-0 at Wembley.
Adam Armstrong’s first-half strike was enough to see the Saints bounce back to the top-flight instead, where they’ll be joined by Championship champions Leicester City and runners-up Ipswich Town.
Leeds were slight favourites for the final having finished third in the table and thumped Norwich 4-0 in their play-off semi-final.
But Daniel Farke’s side are now set for another season in the second-tier with several of their top players expected to leave over the summer.
Fans of rival club Manchester United were no doubt delighted with the result, as was former Red Devils captain Maguire.
The England international was watching the match on TV, and cheekily aimed a dig at the Yorkshire club on his Instagram story.

He posted a picture of Southampton fans celebrating, accompanied by the caption: ‘Hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday.’
It completes a brilliant weekend for Maguire, who lifted the FA Cup on Saturday after United’s shock 2-1 win over other major rivals Manchester City.
The 31-year-old missed the game through injury, but was fully involved in the celebrations, partying late into the night with teammates Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay.
