Senate Minority leader, Sen. Abba Moro, has said the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia is running a one-man-show administration in the state.
He admonished members of the Benue Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to bury their differences and enthrench unity in the party.
Moro stated this during the expanded caucus meeting of the PDP on Monday in Makurdi.
He said the ruling Benue APC administration led by Fr. Alia was busy making mistakes which the PDP should leverage on to bounce back to power.
Moro maintained that what people were witnessing today in Benue was not governance but one-man show and urged PDP members to remain united and shun divisive tendencies.
“Let us avoid dichotomy in the party.
“We must make sure we return this State to PDP.
“We should know that we are in opposition and therefore, we must be united.
“We should not allow personal interest to overwhelm us and so, there is a need for us to deemphasize the issues that divide us.
“We will work hard for our party to return to power because PDP is in Benue and our government is in Benue.
“So we must do everything within the party to bring power back to the State,” Sen. Moro said.
