President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump are officially set to face off in two debates after taking verbal shots at each other.
Biden and Trump quickly agreed to the two campaign debates after Biden announced he will not take part in presidential debates in the fall sponsored by a nonpartisan commission that has held them for over 30 years.
‘Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again,’ said Biden in a video announcement shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday morning.
‘Well, make my day, pal.’

Biden added, ‘I’ll even do it twice’, and ‘I heard you’re free on Wednesdays’, referring to the day Trump is off from his ongoing hush money trial.
Meanwhile, Trump said that Biden is the ‘WORST debater I have ever faced – He can’t put two sentences together!’
The first debate, scheduled for June 27, will be hosted by CNN, and the second for September 10, hosted by ABC.
