Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise would ‘improve Manchester United without a shadow of a doubt’.
That is according to United hero Dwight Yorke who believes his former club should splash £80million on the highly-rated attacking duo.
The Red Devils squad is set for a major overhaul in the summer thanks to the arrival of minority owners INEOS, who may also replace under-fire manager Erik ten Hag.
Improvement is needed all over the pitch, but perhaps most in attack given United’s poor offensive record this season. They are ranked joint 13th in the Premier League alongside Luton Town for goals with 47 – 30 fewer than leaders Arsenal.
The likes of Antony and Marcus Rashford have not delivered the goals and assists expected of them, but Yorke believes the solution has already been found at Selhurst Park.
‘Man United should go buy two Crystal Palace players right now, Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise, without a doubt. Those two young boys are the players Man United need at the club right now,’ the former forward told TVSportGuide.
‘They’re young, great talents and would improve the club. In two or three years time, they would be coming into the best part of their careers and they’d be integrated into the Man United side by then.

‘Olise and Eze are proper players, they have some of the best potential I’ve ever seen. These two kids improve Man United’s attack, without a shadow of a doubt.
‘The deals should be done already, try chucking £80million or something like that for both of them.’
Though they have struggled with a lot of injury issues this campaign, Eze, 25, and Olise, 22, are among the best attacking talents in the league outside of the ‘big’ clubs, recording 15 goals and nine assists between them.

However, signing either or both players would be difficult given how many top sides are interested in their services, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City, but it is said that Olise would prefer a move to Old Trafford if he were to leave South London.
The French winger looked set to join Chelsea last summer but instead signed a new contract with Palace which reportedly contains a release clause of around £70million, and it is believed that INEOS have made him one of their top targets.

Given that release clause, United would need to chuck at lot more than £80m Palace’s way if they wanted both of their talisman, as Eze also penned a new deal just last November.
And the Eagles will have of course have no intention of selling either player as they continue to rebuild under new manager Oliver Glasner.
