A man faces jail after admitting a serious sexual offence against a corpse.
Damon Tingay, 30, was arrested after breaking into the mortuary of Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby in the early hours of March 17.
Initially a suspected burglary, Tingay later admitted to sexual penetration of a corpse.
The man, of no fixed address, also pleaded guilty to trespass with the intention of committing sexual offences while appearing at Hull Crown Court on Monday.
CCTV captured the incident, but this will not be shown in a public courtroom, GrimsbyLive reported.
Instead it will either be shown to the judge in private, or the prosecution will provide a detailed description of it.
A decision on this will be made at the next hearing.

Tingay appeared at the plea and trial preparation hearing wearing a grey sweatshirt with white striped sleeves, and he faces a lengthy prison sentence.
But it will be two months before he knows exactly how long that will be.
Judge John Thackray QC ordered a psychiatric report ahead of his sentencing on June 27.
The probation service will also prepare a report assessing the potential level of danger Tingay poses to the public.
Humberside Police said the investigation into Tingay is unrelated to the high-profile probe into Legacy Funeral Directors.
Det Ch Insp Nicole Elliott said: ‘We are working incredibly closely with our partners at the NHS and the coroner, to ensure all family members of the deceased who were inside the mortuary have been contacted, and our specially trained officers are continuing to support the families of those who have been affected.’
