Chelsea winger Cole Palmer is a doubt for his side’s trip to Arsenal on Tuesday, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed.
Palmer was below his best during Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, and appeared to be struggling with an injury at Wembley.
The playmaker has been in sensational form this term, scoring 23 goals and providing 11 assists since joining the Blues.
Despite the disappointment of their defeat to City, Chelsea’s form is much improved in the Premier League.
Pochettino’s side are three points behind Newcastle and Manchester United, and have a game in hand on their rivals for sixth place.
But Palmer could be missing as Chelsea travel to rivals Arsenal.

Asked about Palmer’s chances of playing, Pochettino said: ‘We will see tomorrow. We will assess him in the morning.
‘Today, no I don’t believe he can be involved but we will assess him tomorrow.
‘Even if he is good tomorrow, maybe he’s not in a condition to play. Hopefully he can recover as soon as possible.’
The Blues could also be without Marc Gusto and Ben Chilwell, with the pair suffering knocks in the defeat at Wembley.
‘Malo suffered minor injury of the ligament on his knee,’ said Pochettino.
‘I’m not a doctor but I show respect trying to translate what is going on.
‘Chilly after the national team it is the same problem he suffered in the last few weeks.’
