An All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Mushin local government area of Lagos State, Prince Adewale Arogundade, has applauded Hon. Moses Oluwatoyin Fayinka, representing Mushin Constituency II in the House of Representatives, for his dedication to empowering young people and improving education through his Imole Tech Hub Initiative.
The commendation follows the successful inaugural graduation ceremony held at the Imole Tech Hub, an ICT training programme organised by Hon. Fayinka, which took place at his constituency office in Aromire, Mushin, Lagos State.
The ICT training programme, covering four specialised departments – MS Word, Database Management, Graphics, and Web Design – marks a significant milestone in equipping the youth with essential digital skills crucial for today’s technological landscape.
Arogundade, who commended Hon. Fayinka’s initiatives highlighted the provision of financial support for students who successfully passed their UTME and post-JAMB examinations and presented their admission letters at his office.
Arogundade said the efforts significantly contribute to youth empowerment and educational advancement in Mushin.
The graduation, attended by 100 participants, featured the recognition of distinguished students from each department, with cash prizes awarded to the top performers. First-place recipients in each department received N50,000, while second and third-place recipients were awarded N30,000 and N20,000, respectively.
“I must say that Mushin has never regretted voting for Hon. Fayinka. His efforts to positively impact the community through various initiatives, ranging from educational advancements to skill acquisition and empowerment programs, deserve commendation, regardless of political affiliation, religion, or ethnicity. Additionally, his approach in addressing the needs of the constituents demonstrates the positive character he embodies,” he said.
