The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, continued its crackdown on price irregularities in local markets, conducting a monitoring exercise at Masaka market in Nasarawa State on Friday.
This initiative is part of the commission’s broader efforts to ensure compliance with pricing, quantity, and quality standards for consumable goods sellers nationwide.
Recently, FCCPC inspected two 4U Supermarket outlets in Wuse 2, Abuja, during which the Commission seized 94 bags of expired goods and other items.
As a result, the branch located at 58 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Wuse 2, was closed down.
