Cleric Blames Nigeria’s Challenges On Disunity

General overseer of the Word Bible Church Worldwide, Prophet Julius Babatunde Kumoluyi, has attributed Nigeria’s economic and security woes to lack of love and unity among Nigerians.

Kumoluyi who said Nigeria’s challenges are not only about leadership but also about followership, decried the ever-rising prices of goods and services in the country.

He called on Nigerians to support the federal government in its efforts at addressing the multifaceted problems confronting the country.

The cleric spoke in Igbara-Odo Ekiti, Ekiti State after the 2024 annual anointing service of the Ekiti/Ondo Zone of the church with the theme: “Anointing Brings Uncommon Blessings”.

He urged Nigerians to be united, love one another and continue to pray for President Bola Tinubu

Making allusion to the naira appreciation against the US dollar with increasing prices of goods and services in Nigeria, he said, “That is the nature of our country.

“Price of anything that goes up for it to come down will be very difficult because of the attitude of our people. When we are shouting about the government being responsible for our challenges as a nation but not  everything is from the government,” he said.
