Benue State Governor, Rev. Hyacinth Alia has announced a N10 million bounty for anyone with useful information that would lead to the arrest of suspects who recently attacked the Makurdi residence of the Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency, Hon. Solomon Wombo.
DAILY POST recalls that the hoodlums had on Saturday attacked the resistance of the federal lawmaker.
The gunmen, after invading the residence, demanded to know the whereabouts of the lawmaker.
One of his housekeepers was brutalized, sustaining injuries during the incident.
Reacting, Alia, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, condemned the attack.
The governor emphasized that his administration will not watch criminals terrorize innocent people in the state, promising that the government will do everything in its power to ensure the suspects are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
He charged security agencies in the state to work tirelessly to locate the suspects and bring them to book.
The Benue State governor urged the people of the state to remain calm, assuring that his administration will not rest on its oars until the state is made free of every form of criminality.
