A British Airways stewardess had to be flown home because she got involved in a drunken fight at a £2,000-a-night hotel.

The woman was staying at the Oblu Xperience Ailafushi with the rest of her BA crew in The Maldives.

As part of the all-inclusive experience, she drank unlimited drinks and took along her daughter and a friend with her BA discount, according to The Sun.

But other people at the resort soon complained about ‘screaming and shouting’ that continued into the early hours.

It was so bad that the hotel management told BA it might send the whole crew back.

A fight then broke out when hotel management warned the three women about their behaviour.

A source said: ‘There was a lot of pushing and shoving, then fists were flying.

‘Onlookers got involved as they tried to break it up. It was the last straw for the hotel. BA was informed and the stewardess was ordered home.’
