A man has been charged with murder over the death of a 48-year-old woman in Leeds.
The victim was found dead by emergency crews called to a house in Tempest Road, Leeds, on Saturday.
George Chalmers, 53, was arrested and charged on Monday.
Detectives previously said the victim’s death appeared to be an ‘isolated’ incident and that no other suspects are being sought.
How the woman died could not immediately be clarified.
Chalmers has been remanded into custody ahead a hearing at Leeds Magistrates Court later in the day.
