Ramadan: Bade LG Chair Distributes Grains To Residents

The chairman of Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State, Hon Ibrahim Babagana, has distributed 600 bags of grains to ten wards across the local government council to reduce the suffering of the people.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the distribution, he stated that the palliative distribution underscores his commitment to supporting the local Muslim community during this sacred period.

He said the council was collaborating with community leaders and politicians to ensure equitable distribution of essential food items to those in need across the local government.

He maintained that the governor, Mai Mala Buni and other party leaders were concerned about the current economic challenges, saying that was the reason behind the distribution of the palliatives.

He added that it was in line with the governor’s directive to ensure that the vulnerable people of the society have access to essential food items during this month of Ramadan.

The council chairman and his local team at the local government were said to have gone around the community to distribute the palliative to residents.

He also called on the beneficiaries to ensure proper utilization of the food items given to them to reduce their plights.
