Groups Congratulate Dogon Bauchi On NPC Appointment

100% Focus Group Movement and Arewa Women for Tinubu/Shettima have congratulated their leader, Sa’adatu Dogon Bauchi Garba, who has been sworn in as Federal Commissioner in the National Population Commission (NPC) representing Kaduna State on Wednesday March 14, 2024.

In a statement made available to journalists and signed by the chairman of 100% Focus Group, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed, the groups extended their appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dogon Bauchi as one of the Federal Commissioners in NPC, describing the choice Dogon Bauchi as a round peg in a round hole.

“We are assuring the people of Nigeria that Dogon Bauchi will successfully implement all measures taken by President Tinubu administration to produce and effectively appropriate accurate population data with which lasting solutions to Nigeria’s socio-political and economic challenges can be conclusively developed and executed,” Dr. Mohammed assured.

Recall that President Tinubu, on Wednesday, sworn in Dogon Bauchi alongside 16 other federal commissioners of the National Population Commission, which he nominated last November.

The 17 new and returning commissioners took the oath of office – in three batches of six, six, and five, respectively, at the Council Chamber of the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

On November 8, 2023, President Tinubu appointed 20 federal commissioners of the NPC, out of which nine were appointed for a second term in office.

100% Focus Movement is a group that moved round the six geopolitical zones sensitising and mobilising Nigerians, mostly market women and traders on the need to support the joint ticket of Tinubu/Shettima to emerge the President/Vice President of Nigeria in the last general election.

The group also worked hand in hand with Arewa Women for Tinubu/Shettima headed by Dogon Bauchi to canvass for women votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2023 elections.
