42nd Olubadan, Oba Lekan Balogun buries at Ali-Iwo compound [PHOTOS]

The remains of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun, have been buried.

The monarch was buried at Ali-Iwo compound, his ancestral home.

DAILY POST recalls that the deceased passed away at the age of 81 on Thursday.

The monarch was buried according to Islamic injunctions.

His body was lowered into the grave around 4.30.

The monarch was buried at his family compound located at Ali-Iwo in Ibadan North East local government area.

The burial was attended by the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, who represented the state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde.

Members of the Olubadan-in-Council were led by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.
