Liverpool and West Ham are in the pot for the Europa League quarter-final draw on Friday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side swept aside Sparta Prague with a 6-1 win at Anfield on Thursday evening, which completed an 11-2 victory on aggregate, to cement their status as one of the favourites to win the competition.

Meanwhile, last season’s Europa Conference League winners West Ham also delivered an impressive display at home as they hammered Freiburg 5-0.

Elsewhere, Benfica edged past Rangers with a 1-0 win at Ibrox, and AC Milan sealed their place in the Europa League quarter final as they eliminated Slavia Prague.

Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen staged a late comeback against Qarabag FK to reach the Europa League quarter finals, while both Atalanta and Marseille are also in Friday’s draw.

Roma were beaten in the return leg by Brighton but they progress 4-1 on aggregate.

At this stage of the competition, there are no restrictions for the draw, meaning that clubs from the same nation could play each other in the quarter final.
