Marcus Rashford and Erik ten Hag are reportedly barely speaking to one another because of the fallout from the Manchester United star’s Belfast bender.
In January, Rashford was in hot water after calling in sick for training ahead of an FA Cup match, when he had in fact been out partying in Belfast just hours before.
When the truth emerged, Ten Hag dropped the England forward for the cup clash at Newport County before fining him £650,000.
At the time, the manager insisted it was an internal matter and that he would ‘deal’ with the player.
Rashford returned to United’s side for their next game against Wolves, scoring the opener in the 4-3 win within minutes and it seemed as if that was that.
However, The Sun report that this is not the end of the story and that the incident has actually broken the pair’s relationship beyond repair.
Rashford and Ten Hag are said to be ‘barely on speaking terms’ now and staff at the club fear they will not reconcile.

The Dutchman was furious with the 26-year-old, especially after he lied to him by claiming his Belfast trip had happened 24 hours earlier than it did.
This is also not the first time Rashford has had to be disciplined by Ten Hag this season after he was criticised for celebrating his birthday immediately after United were thrashed 3-0 at Old Trafford by local rivals Manchester City in October.
This all comes amid huge speculation regarding the future of both manager and player, with Ten Hag now effectively on trial until the end of the season with the new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe weighing up potential replacements.

Furthermore, despite his poor form this campaign, Rashford has been tipped to leave his boyhood club and replace Kylian Mbappe at PSG, with the World Cup winner set to join Real Madrid when his contract expires in the summer.
Rashford has scored just five goals in 31 games across all competitions so far in 2023/24, a far cry from the sensational 30 goals he achieved last season.
He and Ten Hag will be hoping for much better when United travel to Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night for their FA Cup fifth-round tie.
