A flight taking holidaymakers back to London from Gran Canaria was diverted after a passenger suffered a medical emergency.
The British Airways plane took off from the popular Canary Islands destination at 6.43pm yesterday evening, after being delayed by more than an hour.
Data from FlightRadar24 shows the plane turned sharply over Brittany in north-west France on its way to Gatwick Airport.
It then landed at Brest Airport instead at around at 10.53pm, according to The Sun.

A BA spokesperson said: ‘The flight diverted due to a customer requiring medical attention where it landed normally.
‘Our teams are working to ensure customers are able to continue their journey as soon as possible.’
