Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke has expressed deep shock over the death of Alhaji Tohir Aderemi Sanni, the husband of Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni.
Governor Adeleke commiserated with his sister, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke Sanni and the entire Sanni family over the loss of such a dear, kind and easy-going father figure.
A statement by the state commissioner for information and public enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, recalled with nostalgia the contributions of the 74-year-old Sanni, particularly his exemplary lifestyle as a good family man.
Also, a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun, Dotun Babayemi, condoled with Governor Adeleke, his sister Mrs. Dupe Sanni-Adeleke and the entire Adeleke family over the passing of Alhaji Sanni.
Babayemi said the news of the demise of Sanni was a rude shock in a statement by his media office, describing the deceased as a great man who would be missed.
In its condolence message made available to newsmen by Osun PDP chairman, Sunday Bisi, the party described the news of the death as extremely sad and shocking.
His words, “Osun PDP is really short of words over the loss of a loving father and friend of our great party, Alhaji Aderemi Sanni, whose carriage exuded love beyond borders. He was a friendly father, so accommodating to a fault!”.
