A party got out of hand when more than 300 people turned up after the event was advertised on social media.
Sussex Police were called to intervene at the gathering on Poulters Lane in Worthing on Friday night.
Officers had to use megaphones to corral more than 300 teenagers as they flooded out of the house and onto adjoining streets.
The Argus reports the party grew in size and scale when details of the gathering were posted on Facebook.
Patrol vans were eventually called as police continued to try and disperse the children late into the night.
Many of the police vehicles remained stationed on roads that were also blocked in the area as officers continued shepherding the teens away.

The scenes recall the numerous parties and illegal gatherings that were shut down during the pandemic.
At one such event in Southwark, South London, a police officer was knocked unconscious while trying to disperse a crowd of approximately 30 people.
They had been responding to reports of a robbery in the early hours of March 2, 2021.

Four arrests were made and £800 fines were handed out.
Less than a month later, police were again called to an illegal rave in Manchester.
Pictures and footage from the event showed people drinking and dancing at an outdoor pavilion.
Hundreds were reported to have been in attendance despite the fact that Covid-19 restrictions remained in place.
