A six-year-old boy and two women have been killed in a car crash in Worcester.
The driver of a Ford Mondeo, a 26-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene alongside her passenger, a 39-year-old woman, on the A44, Spetchley Road in Worcester yesterday afternoon.
A boy, 6, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but sadly died shortly after arrival.
Two men, both occupants of a BMW, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Chief Inspector Mark Davidson said: ‘This is an incredibly sad incident, and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the people who have sadly died.
‘I urge anybody who witnessed the collision or may have dash-cam footage to contact the police as you may be able to help with our investigation into what happened.’
