A Scottish man has had a wallet he lost 30 years ago returned to him after a dog walker came across it.
Fraser Gall was walking his dog along North Berwick’s East Sands when he spotted the ‘frozen in time’ wallet.
The 44-year-old then shared what he had found on social media and managed to find the very surprised owner of the wallet.
And the wallet contained some significant blasts from the past, including a retro Royal Bank of Scotland card that was dated 1991.
There was also a £50 cheque stored safely in the purse.
The wallet also contained local shop cards from years ago, including an AZAD video membership card from a popular rental shop in Leith near Edinburgh.
Any North Berwick residents who have lived in the area for years might also feel nostalgic at the mention of a card from Quality Video.

The old film rental store was once popular in the East Lothian town.
Fraser, originally from North Berwick, said: ‘I just picked it up and couldn’t believe it was from the 1980s and I thought to myself that I should reunite it with its owner, how it was in such good condition I have no idea, and where it came from I have no clue.
‘It doesn’t look like the wallet came from the dunes so it is a complete mystery that something like this just appeared after 40-odd years.

‘Initially I thought someone had just dropped this but I just couldn’t believe it when I looked at some of the cards, a few of them were from my childhood, and it really brought me back.’
Fraser said he made it his mission to reunite the wallet with its owner and took to Facebook to start his search and try to find who it belonged to.
After only a few hours of posting the pictures, Fraser was contacted by one of the locals who was related to the resident who lost it all those years ago.

Local news site Edinburgh Live contacted the owner, but they wished to stay anonymous.
To say thank you for his honesty and dedication to returning the wallet, the owner offered Fraser a pint after they met.
But Fraser, who searches for old bottles and memorabilia as a hobby, was simply happy to see it back in the right hands.
