DR Congo defender, Dylan Batubinsika has urged his teammates to focus on overcoming South Africa in the Third-Place match of the 2023 Africa Cup of nations.
Recall that DR Congo lost 1-0 to Ivory Coast in the semi-finals on Wednesday while South Africa lost 4-2 on penalties to the Super Eagles.
With the team set to face Bafana Bafana, Batubinsika told Cafonline that the team is proud of their progress so far at the tournament.

“We’ll be disappointed for a while because we had the potential to go all the way,” the Saint-Etienne player said.
“I think we have a mixture of feelings with the elimination, but our ambition is to go and get this medal. We have to stay mobilised to at least finish in third place,” the player said.
”We have to be proud of what we’ve done so far, we’ve had a great run, we would have liked to go all the way but that wasn’t the case.
