Girona full-back Miguel Gutierrez has attracted the attention of the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City, but Real Madrid appear to be in the driving seat to sign him this summer.
The 22-year-old left Real Madrid for Girona in 2022 and has been extremely impressive since then, making 63 appearances in all competitions, with the Catalan club flying in La Liga, second only to Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
A return to the Santiago Bernabeu remains most likely for Gutierrez as Real Madrid retained 50 per cent of his rights and Relevo report that they can buy him back from Girona in the summer for as little as €8m (£6.8m).
There is no shortage of Premier League interest, with the report stating that Gutierrez received a formal offer from the English top flight in January but rejected the move.
Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest in the Spain Under-21 international, so he has a plethora of options ahead of him.
With so much interest from European giants, Girona will be hoping that Real Madrid will not exercise their option to bring him back cheaply, with other clubs having to pay a lot more for his services.
However, those feelings are not shared by the player, who is reportedly keen to return to Real Madrid and have another crack at breaking into the first team in the Spanish capital.

Gutierrez did make 10 appearances for Real Madrid as a youngster before leaving for Girona, turning out in La Liga and the Champions League.
One hope for Girona’s accountants and the chasing pack for Gutierrez is that Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Bayern Munich left-back Alphonso Davies.
The BBC described Davies as a ‘key target’ for Los Meringues, along with PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, and if they bring in the Canadian then Gutierrez will not be a priority.
