DR Congo coach Sebastien Desabre says Ivory Coast won’t pose a threat to his team ahead of tonight’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Yamoussoukro.
Desabre in a chat with Cafonline, stated that the players are full of confidence and ready to challenge the host for a place in the final.
He noted that DR Congo will do everything to silence their vociferous supporters today.
“We approach this with calmness and patience. The boys have recovered well after beating Guinea,” he said.
“Having an extra day of rest compared to our opponent could also be key.
“They have a quality squad and even without four players, they have other strengths and a deep bench.
“We are competitors, we want to reach the final and will do everything to achieve that,” Desabre stated bullishly.”
