Bukayo Saka is once again at the heart of Arsenal’s pursuit to win their first Premier League title since 2004.

The 22 year-old has provided a steady stream of goals for Mikel Arteta’s men – as well as putting on plenty of assists for his teammates – as they compete with Manchester City and Liverpool in what is increasingly looking like a three-horse race for the title.

But whilst Saka’s stats this term look impressive on paper, the England international’s performances have, at times, fallen slightly short of the lofty standards he set for the club last season.

Let’s take a look at how many goals Saka has scored for Arsenal in the 2023/24 season.

How many goals has Bukayo Saka scored for Arsenal this season?

Saka has scored 11 goals for Arsenal so far in all competitions this season.

Of these 11 goals, eight of them have arrived in The Gunners’ Premier League campaign.

The Hale End academy graduate began the season in fine form, scoring four goals in the team’s opening seven Premier League fixtures with strikes against Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Tottenham and Bournemouth.

Saka would then have to wait until matchday 14 to get on the Premier League scoresheet again, scoring against Wolves in the 2-1 win in December.

A further goal would be notched in the 2-1 defeat to Fulham on New Year’s Eve, with two more subsequently arriving in consecutive games against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.

Saka’s other three goals have been scored in the Champions League, with finishes against PSV, Sevilla and Lens in the group stage.

Saka is Arsenal’s highest goalscorer this season, ahead of Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard who have eight apiece.

The Englishman bagged 15 goals in all competitions for Arsenal last season in what was his most fruitful campaign with the north Londoners.

How many assists does Bukayo Saka have for Arsenal this season?

As well as his goals, Saka has provided 13 assists for his Arsenal teammates this term, with seven of those coming in the Premier League.

Four of these assists have arrived in the Champions League, with Saka assisting in all but one of his five games in the competition to date.

Saka was also the provider for Trossard’s last minute equaliser in the Community Shield back in August, with Arsenal triumphing 4-1 on penalties over Manchester City.

All told, Saka has 23 goal contributions for Arsenal in all competitions this season, the highest tally of any player in Arsenal’s squad.

How many goals has Bukayo Saka scored for Arsenal in his career?

Since making his Arsenal debut in November 2018, Saka has scored 49 goals in just over 200 appearances for his boyhood club, as well as registering 53 assists.
