AFCON 2023: Supporters Club Rallies Support For Eagles Against Angola

The patron of Nigerian Football Supporters Club (NFSC), Mr Segun Musa, has called for support for the Super Eagles in their quarterfinal clash against Angola at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Eagles will face Angola in the opening quarter-finals of the AFCON 2023 on Friday at the famous Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny.

Musa made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday in Lagos, saying massive support from home would motivate the Super Eagles to play well and qualify for the semifinal.
The former Lagos State governorship candidate, believed the Super Eagles had enough qualities to qualify for the final and bring home the trophy at the end of the tournament.
“I appeal to Nigerians to get prepared for Friday and turn out en masse to support the Super Eagles who will be playing in the quarter final.

“We are appealing for your maximum support so as to motivate the team to give their best on the pitch and increase their chances of qualifying for the semifinal.
“When we started this tournament, a lot of people condemned our performance in the beginning, now you can’t help but agree that our performance has improved tremendously.
“The more support we give to them, the more their game will improve and increase their chances of winning because they are aware of the support back home,” he said.
