Hundreds of people became violently sick after an aerospace company’s Christmas dinner due to suspected food poisoning.
The ARS health agency said the employees of Airbus Atlantic had been struck down with vomiting and diarrhoea.
It follows a company wide event 10 days ago in Western France which quickly turned into a nightmare.
An investigation has now been launched to try and track down what may have contaminated the festive meal that was served.
The aerospace company is one of the world’s biggest and employs 13,000 employees in five countries worldwide.
According to the Mail Online more than 700 were affected by the food poisoning although Airbus has disputed this figure

An Airbus spokesman claimed that only 100 people were taken ill.
They told the news website: ‘On Friday December 15 around 100 Airbus Atlantic employees were taken ill after contracting a food-borne illness after eating the company-organised Christmas lunch.
‘This appears to be an isolated event and all employees are recovering well.
‘The health of our employees remains our primary concern and we are fully cooperating with the ARS health agency to identify the cause of the illness and ensure this cannot happen again in the future.’
