Manchester United have been given the chance to sign Takefusa Kubo after Real Sociedad set an achievable asking price.

The Red Devils have watched the Japan international on seven occasions this season and he’s impressed scouts from the club.

Kubo joined Sociedad from Real Madrid for just £5.5m, having moved to the Spanish capital after four years in the academy of rivals Barcelona.

While Kubo has always shown promise, it wasn’t until his move to the Basque region that he found his feet in Spanish football.

Since joining Sociedad, Kubo’s notched 15 goals and 14 assists in 67 appearances and is a crowd favourite.

After a mixed debut campaign that started brightly but faded, Antony’s performances this term have been poor.

The Brazilian, who cost £85m from Ajax, has failed to provide a single goal or assist this season.

United will consider offers for the winger at the end of the season.
