FC Porto vice-president Vitor Baia has described his side’s Champions League last-16 clash against Arsenal as an ‘unequal fight’.
Mikel Arteta’s side finished top of Group B and have paired with Porto, who finished runners-up to Barcelona in Group H, in the Champions League last-16 draw.
Arsenal currently sit one point clear at the top of the Premier League, while Porto sit third in the Portuguese top flight, three points behind leaders Sporting CP.
And Baia believes Arsenal’s financial power in the transfer market gives the Gunners a clear edge in the Champions League knockout phase.
‘They will be extremely complicated games, but we have a very specific DNA in this competition,’ Baia told Porto Canal.
‘We are not afraid of anyone and we will do our best. We are very competitive and we enjoy these moments. I have complete confidence in what could happen.’

Baia went on to describe Arsenal as a team with ‘with incredible capacity’.
‘They have young players who form a quality team with a very interesting dynamic,’ he said
‘They have strengthened well and plays in one of the main leagues in the world.
‘Arsenal have weapons that unfortunately we don’t have.
‘Their financial capacity allows them to buy the best players and talents with the highest quality, as was the case with our Fabio Vieira.
‘But we never hide from this issue. It is, in fact, an unequal fight, but we have performed authentic miracles with what we have.’
