Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has revealed he leaked news of his move to Anfield to Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland.
The pair were team-mates at RB Salzburg, where Haaland made his breakthrough in the Champions League.
Haaland, like Szoboszlai, joined sister club RB Leipzig before his move to Manchester City.
The Hungary international has, of course, joined Haaland in the Premier League now following his £60m move to Liverpool.
The pair, who are close friends off the pitch, now live on the same street in the north-west and they’ll come up against one another for the first time when Liverpool travel to the Etihad on Saturday.
And Szoboszlai says he leaked news of his move to Anfield to Haaland before it was official in July.

‘We got really close because we were both young,’ he told the BBC.
‘He’s a great player, and great guy. Yeah he has the house and then two houses between us and then it’s my house.
‘When I came to sign it was not official yet and I sent him a picture of the Liverpool shirt and he was like: ‘Wait, what’s happening?!’ and I was like; ‘Yeah, we’re going to see each other’ and he just said ‘Congratulations, the Premier League is crazy.’
