Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, is expected to attend the investiture of Barr. Chukwuemeka Eze, a seasoned lawyer, as the maiden president of the Salt City Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (SALTCCIMA) in Ebonyi State on November 29.
In a statement, the group said the governor will deliver the keynote message. It also said that the chamber of commerce will serve as a viable platform for advocacy and the promotion of a conducive business environment and investment flows to Ebonyi State.
“The keynote address will be delivered by the National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce (NACCIMA), Otunba Dele Oye, while the President of the South East Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (SECCIMA), Mr. Humphrey Ngonadi, will deliver a goodwill message. Ide John C. Udeagbala, ksj, npom, the immediate Past President of NACCIMA, will chair the occasion.
‘‘SALTCCIMA will be an advocacy voice for the institution of a conducive business environment for commerce, industry, and other forms of economic activities of interest within the State. The promotion, protection, and development of micro, small, medium, and large enterprises within the State will also receive priority from SALTCCIMA. SALTCCIMA will further serve as a platform for business innovation, access to soft loans, business diversification, skills acquisition, and deepening private sector activities within the State,” the statement read.
