Greta Thunberg was interrupted at a climate rally in Amsterdam when a man marched onstage and grabbed her microphone.
Attendees of the rally had been chanting ‘Palestine will be free’ only moments before the debacle unfolded.
Greta said: ‘As a climate justice movement, we have to listen to the voices of those who are being oppressed and those who are fighting for freedom and for justice.
‘Otherwise, there can be no climate justice without international solidarity.’
The man could be seen reaching for the microphone as Greta resisted – seemingly unbothered – before he was apprehended by security and members of the rally onstage.
He said into the microphone: ‘I have come here for a climate demonstration, not a political view.’
One attendee yelled in reply: ‘Climate is politics.’

The crowd then began chanting: ‘No climate justice on occupied land!’
The rally later had a Palestinian and Afghan woman come onstage to speak about climate justice in ‘occupied lands’.
Afghan speaker Sahar Shirzad said Greta allowed her and the Palestinian woman to speak after the interruption.
The rally was only hours after 70,000 marched through Amsterdam calling for climate change action – the largest ever at a climate protest in the Netherlands.
Greta has come under fire in recent weeks after expressing pro-Palestinian views online, and was confronted by an Israeli army spokesperson.

The climate activist previously said: ‘The world needs to speak up and call for an immediate ceasefire, justice and freedom for Palestinians and all civilians affected.’
She later added: ‘We are of course against any type of discrimination, and condemn antisemitism in all forms and shapes. This is non-negotiable.’
The climate activist was arrested at a London protest in mid-October after gathering outside of a central London hotel where oil executives were meeting.
The protesters attempted to block access to the InterContinental Hotel on Park Lane by sitting and standing on the pavement by the entrance.
Greta was bailed after being charged with complying with conditions of a public order act, and is set to appear in Westminster Magistrates Court on November 15.
