Commuters on a Paris metro were stunned when a group began chanting ‘we are Nazis and proud’.
Video footage shows the moment a crowd loudly shouted back and forth: ‘F*** the Jews and f*** your mother. Long live Palestine… We are Nazis and proud.’
Other passengers were seen laughing uncomfortably as the chants increased, culminating in the Nazi statement.
France has seen a rise in the number of antisemitic incidents after the outbreak of violence in Gaza, with some homes painted with the Star of David.

It comes after dozens of homes have been painted with the Blue Star of David in Paris
Since the war between Hamas and Israel began on October 7, France has recorded more than 800 anti-Semitic attacks, according to Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin.
In Jewish homes on the outskirts of Paris, multiple blue stars have been painted on homes and stone fences.

Outside of a stadium in Carcassonne, someone graffitied: ‘Killing Jews is a duty.’
The Mayor of Paris gave a statement condemning the painting of more than 60 Stars of David in the 14th arrondissement.
She said: ‘The City of Paris condemns these anti-Semitic acts with the greatest firmness and will not let anything pass.’

Previously, the President of the French National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, was sent a letter threatening to decapitate her.
More than ‘414 arrests by police and gendarmes’ have been made already as Darmanin stressed: ‘I understand the fear of French people of Jewish faith, but I also want to tell them that they are protected by the Republic.’
Yonathan Arfi, president of the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions, told the Wall Street Journal: ‘We know that it’s only a matter of days before we have a situation of people being attacked because they are Jewish.
‘That’s always the case when we have war in the Middle East.’
