Levi Colwill has warned Tottenham that Chelsea are coming to north London looking for three points when the two teams clash on Monday night.

Spurs host the Blues in the Premier League on Monday evening as Ange Postecoglou’s side look to keep up their unbeaten record in the top flight so far this campaign.

After 10 games, the Australian’s team sit top of the table with eight wins and two draws, already 14 points ahead of Chelsea who are languishing in 11th.

Chelsea lost at home to Brentford in their last league outing but Colwill says his team are not fazed by the form of Spurs and says they are confident of a shock win next week.

‘It’s a big game, a great one to play in because of the rivalry,’ said the 20-year-old. ‘Of course, they’ve got good players but, at the same time, so have we.

‘We played well against the big teams like Arsenal and Liverpool. We have the same approach as any other game no matter whether they are top of the league or not.

‘We can go there and try to win which we are capable of. It will be a hard game but we are capable of winning.

‘I am definitely and, speaking on behalf of all the players, we are all ready to go there and put a good performance in and, as I said, get the win.’

Chelsea got back to winning ways on Wednesday night as they beat Blackburn 2-0 in the fourth round of the EFL Cup, a victory which Pochettino is sure will bring confidence with it.

‘After Saturday it was important for us to win the game and get through to the next round of the competition,’ said Pochettino. ‘There were too many chances, we need to be more clinical, but that you cannot change from Saturday to today. It is about with time bringing confidence.

‘But there were many positive things too. It was important to stay in and go through in this competition that is important for us, building confidence.’
