Manchester United hope to have Tyrell Malacia available again before the end of the year with the left-back recovering from knee surgery.

The Netherlands international, who joined United from Feyenoord in the summer of 2022, has not played since United’s final game of last season against Fulham.

He missed the club’s entire pre-season campaign with no update given on his condition since the start of the campaign. ‘Malacia’s will take some time, the same as Amad and Kobbie, they are really impact injuries,’ Erik ten Hag noted ahead of the first game of the season against Wolves with no other updates forthcoming.
